Founded in Munich in 2006 by the bartenders Stephan Berg and Alexander Hauck. It helped bring back forgotten bitters such as celery and Creole bitters, and also makes liqueurs from historic recipes.
More about The Bitter Truth →About this bottle
Celery bitters were used in 19th-century bars and then disappeared for decades. The Bitter Truth brought them back, and in 2010 they were named Best New Cocktail Ingredient at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans.
