Terms of use
Last updated 26 October 2026
Barpedia is a community encyclopedia of spirits, liqueurs and aperitifs. By creating an account or contributing, you agree to these terms. Reading Barpedia is free and needs no account.
Who can use Barpedia
Barpedia is for people of legal drinking age in their country. Please enjoy alcohol responsibly.
Information comes from the community
Pages are written by members and checked before publishing, but they may still contain mistakes or be out of date. Barpedia gives no guarantee that the information is complete or correct, and it is not advice of any kind. If you spot an error, please suggest a correction or report it.
What you may not post
- Spam, advertising or links unrelated to the product.
- Information you know to be false or misleading.
- Offensive, hateful or illegal content, or content that targets other people.
- Photos or text you don't own and have no permission to use.
Your contributions and the licence you give us
- You keep the rights to the photos and texts you upload.
- You confirm that what you upload is yours, or that you have permission to use it.
- You give Barpedia a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, show, adapt and publish your contributions on the site and in connection with it, including for commercial purposes.
- This licence continues if you delete your account, at least for factual information (such as names, alcohol content or origin). Your contributions then show as made by a former user.
- Contributors are not paid and do not receive a share of any income.
Logos, photos and requests from brands
If a brand asks for its logo or images to be removed, we remove them. Factual information about its products stays. Brands can write to barpedia2026@gmail.com.
Reviewing, warnings and blocking
Everything proposed is checked before it is published, and may be corrected or turned down. Accounts that break these terms are first warned and then blocked if it continues. Blocked accounts can still read Barpedia but can no longer contribute.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. The applicable law and courts will be stated here after legal review.
