Cookie policy

Cookies are small files a website keeps in your browser. Barpedia uses a few cookies it needs to work, and advertising cookies from Google, which are used only if you accept them.

Cookies Barpedia needs to work

These don't need your consent.

  • Sign-in (names starting with sb-): keep you signed in. Removed when you sign out.
  • Welcome and age confirmation (barpedia_welcomed): remembers that you confirmed you are of legal drinking age, for 12 hours.
  • Bottles to compare: kept in your browser's local storage (not sent to us) until you clear the list.

Advertising cookies

Google AdSense shows the ads on Barpedia. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, and, if you allow it, to personalise them. In the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a message from Google asks for your choice first, and you can change it at any time from the privacy link on the page. More in our privacy policy and in Google's explanation of advertising cookies.
