Taylor's

History

One of the oldest port houses, founded in 1692 by the English merchant Job Bearsley and based in Vila Nova de Gaia. Taylor's created Chip Dry, the first dry white port, in 1934, and helped make Late Bottled Vintage popular in 1970. It is part of The Fladgate Partnership, still run by descendants of the founding families.
